That was awesome. Kind of a Heaven/Hell type mix. The beginning is totally awesome. Then it gets into the experimental kind of glitch/noise stuff. Parts of that are just awesome, while other parts aren't so hot, but all in all this song is AWESOME. Can't wait until you finish it. I don't know why the score is so low. Oh, I remember: People on Newgrounds only listen to MAINSTREAM music. They have no idea about experimental music AT ALL. Stupid peoples.

I agree with IDReaper. It does remind me of Linkin Park. Which isn't a bad thing. Awesome. The only bad thing is that it's so short.

In this one I had added more build-up and background, yet the grudge against midi and my songs was evident enough.
Maybe I should say thanks for not voting, since you'd vote it really low. My guess is you are a professional who cannot acknowledge a melody or rhythm, or have heard many great songs that make mine seem like crap.
That said, I am clearly stating this piece does not deserve a 3.

It's really messy and it doesn't flow. The harmonies are off, and again, basic MIDI instruments. I'm sorry, but I don't really like it. Luckily for you, I'm not voting for them, just reviewing, otherwise your ratings would go down a lot.

I'd used the same program while making this.
i see why you say it's messy, and i can tell you why. it's the beat. even though it's not off, it's very irregular, and i was aiming for the randomness.
I do say that the harmony wasn't off at all, the beat just made everything seem to choppy.
Also, I don't expect you to like it. Just a fair review of the music and my experience. thanks again for your input.

I don't like the instruments. They are like basic MIDI instruments and they just don't have a very professional sound to them. The song is okay, but there just isn't enough to it. The melody is okay, but it could use something in the background to pump it up. Maybe some bass and a string ensemble? I don't know, I just didn't really like it. I'm interested in what program you use to make this, because as I've said, it sounds pretty cheap. The only thing that sounds good quality is the reverb, which isn't really a big deal. I recommend getting Fruity Loops or Acid or something if you want to look into the music career professionally, which I highly doubt. But even so, they are good programs and I know for a fact that you can get free versions of FL around the web, you just have to look. Keep working on it, I guess. I'll check out your other songs, maybe they'll be better than this one. Sorry. Just my personal opinion...and I'm a tough critic.

This is one of my oldest songs, so I can see how your score compares.
But there is one thing. You can lose the attitude. I don't see how being doubtful of my interests has any relevance to this review.

I can see you use FL Studio, as I do. How long have you used it? You still seem to be in the learning stage. Sorry if you find this offensive. The song is ok, it's just not that great in my opinion. It could be much better.

It's got a unique sound to it and although I wasn't too sure at the beginning, I felt my self grooving to it eventually. Nice job. It takes guts and skill to make this kind of wonderful, terrible music. -wink-
